Fiabonline: Monitoring of rotating machines

FIABTECH is a company specialized in improving the reliability of rotating machines through vibration analysis. Its core business is to deploy turnkey vibration analysis projects to audit industrial infrastructures. This starts with the selection of the equipment, its implementation, as well as regular monitoring of the machines.

FIABTECH's challenge was the creation of Fiabonline: an intelligent monitoring system that keeps machines under the continuous supervision of an expert.

Challenges

FIABTECH's challenges in creating Fiabonline were the following:

• A growing number of customers and sites to supervise, leading to the need for a scalable and centralized solution
• Time-consuming manual reporting that needed to be automated
• The need to simplify a complex profession
• Very different machines and industrial sites
• The desire to stand out by offering a unique and personalized user experience

The solution

FIABTECH chose SCorp-io for the following reasons:

• A scalable platform where it is possible to centralize data from different sites
• A reporting module enabling the creation of customized dashboards
• A user-friendly no-code platform allowing the rapid creation of an application adapted to each site
• Ultra-modern and scalable white-label applications
• A constantly evolving platform with many existing features such as alerting (SMS/email), native responsiveness, user rights management, and the availability of graphs, KPIs, synoptics, (...) enabling FIABTECH to design a unique user experience

Results

Architecture

A first achievement with the interconnection of the SCorp-io platform with the Schaeffler platform through a REST API.

Application

A clear and efficient presentation of the infrastructures for fast decision-making by technicians on site.

Simple indicators to present the data

Including real-time animated traffic lights allowing users to instantly visualize the different states of their equipment.

Two alert levels

Notifications (e-mail or SMS) configured on each piece of equipment to prevent failures: intervention alert and failure alert.

A fully customizable layout

The layout is simple and modern, allowing users to understand the key vibration analysis indicators and perform a detailed analysis in case of malfunction.

A unique reporting module

A customized report, editable (addition of comments) and exportable (Excel format). It enables communication between Fiabonline users and FIABTECH experts, while highlighting past events and abnormal measurements on equipment.

Collaboration

The collaboration between SCorp-io and FIABTECH began with a chance meeting at the SEPEM Grenoble trade fair. After carefully listening to FIABTECH's challenges, the SCorp-io team developed a supervision application adapted to its needs in just a few days. Very quickly, FIABTECH was convinced to start working with SCorp-io on the co-development of a first site. Only half a day of training was required for the FIABTECH teams to get familiar with SCorp-io's no-code platform. The additional site monitoring applications were developed by the FIABTECH Team in record time!

The deployment of a new site takes us approximately half a day. It is 10 times faster than with traditional software.
